What do we want to achieve?
After reading this manual, you can change the monitoring well data, limit value and signal value.
This change will affect the visualization and generation of events and alarms.

Navigate to asset detail page
Use the navigation menu to open the Assets page.
Here you see an overview of all assets that have been added to your project.
Using the search bar, you can search for the desired asset. Click on the name of the asset you want to edit.
A new screen will open where you can view the details of your asset. There are several tabs at the top where the asset's settings can be changed.

Change monitoring well data
Each arrangement of your monitoring well may be different. Therefore, you can change some data per monitoring well that will affect on the visualization of the data.
On the asset detail page, go to the tab "Metadata" tab.
In this tab, you can change settings that affect on the visualization of the data of the monitoring well.

If this asset is new, you will see at the metadata values that use these default values. You can see this because the button under the title "Use default", is on.
When you have modified the metadata for your asset, press "Save" at the bottom.
Beware: Standardly Calculus visualizes a new measured value once an hour. Changing metadata will not affect your visualization until a new value is added.
Beware: If the selected limit and signal value in "Metadata" do not match the selected limit and signal value in the "Custom Threshold value" of the event, the visualisation between the two may differ.

Setting events
Click on the asset to open the settings.
Open the "Event Definitions" tab.
Click here on the event named "NAP/TAW level".
You are now taken to the screen where you can adjust the threshold values. Here, you will see a column of arrows.
Click on the "Edit" button. It is located in the upper right corner of the window.
The arrows left of the column with colored blocks are now colored white.
You can modify those blocks by clicking on it and deleting the old value. You then enter the new value.
You can also adjust the value in increments of 1 using the arrows that appear when you hover the mouse cursor over the threshold value field.
Save the changes by clicking the "Save" button.
Beware:If the selected limit and signal value in "Metadata" do not match the selected limit and signal value in the "Custom Threshold value" of the event, the visualisation between the two may differ.
Example
You have entered the following metadata values:
- Grenswaardeboven: -0.2
- Signaalwaardeboven: -0.5
- Signaalwaardeonder: -4.5
- Grenswaardeonder: -4.7
The threshold values in the event definition need to be filled as follows:

Customize the event definition through the dashboard
You can also edit the event definition by going to the asset dashboard.
On the dashboard, you will find an event definition widget that allows you to customize the event in the same way as through the asset page.
